Este año estamos de enhorabuena con el grupo inglés The Coral, no solo por premiarnos con disco nuevo Butterfly House, sino que además nos tendrá en cuenta para la gira de presentación del mismo. Las ciudades afortunadas de recibirlos son Madrid y Barcelona.

El sexto y último álbum, Butterfly House, se graba parte en el estudio RAK de Londres y parte en Rockfield studios de Gales, se publica por el sello Deltasonic y se produce por John Leckie, el mismo que colaboró anteriormente con The Stone Roses y Radiohead. Desprende todo el carácter country, folk y rock psicodélico sesentero que da personalidad al grupo. Es cierto que anteriormente nos deleitaron con canciones más alegres y bailongas como Whose Gonna Find Me, In the Rain, Shadows Fall , In the Morning o el tema con el que saltaron a la fama Dreaming of you. En cambio este último disco es más una balada pastoral a lo Simon & Garfunkel o The Byrds, pero siempre guardando melodías agradables, guitarras precisas, ritmos muy beat y con un deje de psicodelia a lo Orange Juice o The Teardrop Explodes. Todo ello muy bien mezclado con un montón de sonido british anacrónico.
